What I Loved This Month | June Favourites 2015 | EmmyWritesAbout

Tomorrow is July and i honestly cannot believe it. Finally we are getting some nicer weather and the summer is finally here! June has been a good month for me, alot has happened and things are moving forward. This months favourites were quite hard to narrow down as i have fallen in love with a lot of products.

The Body Shop Baked Blush | £12.00

If you are a regular reader of my blog you will have seen i placed a Body Shop order a while ago. This blush is one i has lusted over for months and finally got it. It was definitely worth the wait! It is a baked blush and comes in two shades, i picked the shade “petal”. It is a gorgeous pink blush with a slight shimmer, perfect for summer!

The Body Shop Tea Tree Night Lotion | £9.00

Again another product from my Body Shop Haul. This has been a big game changer for me. I suffer with oily skin, blemishes and a little scarring on my chin from old breakouts. Since using this i have noticed my skin is less oily and alot clearer! This along with some new skincare products have changed my skin for the better! If you would like to read my updated skincare routine i will leave the link at the bottom of this post.

George Asda Matte Primer | £5.00

I picked this up in Asda over a month ago as it was on offer for £2.50. I never buy anything from the George makeup range as i find the quality not to be the best. I am willing to try anything that says it can mattify my skin. I have already purchased my second tube of this! It is the only primer i have been using throughout June. It is pink in colour and has a moisturiser like texture. As soon as i have applied this it sinks into my skin well and you really feel the matte effect straight away. It is honestly one of the best primers i have ever used!

Eylure Brow Crayon | £4.50

I usually use the Eylure Brow Trio Kit but recently i have been reaching for this pencil. It is a twist up pencil so no sharpening required! It applies easily and gives a lovely colour. I find it outlines and fills in my brows really well.

Nars Contour Brush DUPE | £1.84

I can honestly say this is one of the best brushes i have ever purchased! It is a exact dupe of the Nars Contour Brush and it works amazingly well. I use this to contour and it creates such a flawless finish better than any other contour brush. I did buy this on Ebay and it did come from China so postage does take a few weeks but for only £1.84 it is worth it.

Freedom Conceal & Correct Palette “Light” | £5.00

For those of you who don’t know Freedom is a new makeup brand that launched online about a month ago. They also do makeup classes which is amazing. I placed quite a large order and i am very impressed by the quality of the products. This palette is incredible. The concealer is super creamy and blends in easily. This palette includes pink tones, yellow tones and one green shade. If you would like to see my freedom haul i will leave the link below.
