It isn’t often I change up my hair care routine as my hair is so hard to deal with and most products don’t work on it. When I heard about the Ogario Styling Mist I was intrigued as it claims to add volume, improve strength and shine. It contains lemon zest and oats too but does it actually work?
Ogario say this product can be used on all hair types, my hair is beyond thick. When I go to the hair dressers it takes two of them to dry it and you can always see in their faces how much they hate my hair.. blame my mum and nan as they have passed it onto me! My sister got away with thin hair. Even though my hair is extremely thick I don’t have any volume at the roots due to my hair being that heavy and pulls it downwards which looses volume on top.
I have to admit I was dubious about this product as I said most products don’t seem to do anything for my hair. I washed my hair as normal and then it says before drying spritz this above your head and let it fall onto your hair. I did this but also lifted a small section at the back near my scalp and spritzed there too as that is where I need volume. The scent isn’t strong at all which I was glad about. I don’t tend to like strong scented products on my hair.
I left it a couple of minutes to soak into my hair before drying it as normal. When finished I was surprised. The roots had a little more volume, not a huge amount but just enough like I needed. It stopped my hair from look flat. I also noticed how soft my hair felt after using this. So far the claims are actually right!
One thing I find is an issue with alot of hair products is how they leave a sticky/tacky feeling to my hair but this mist doesn’t at all. You can’t tell I have applied anything by touching my hair.
Overall I am extremely impressed and happy I have finally found a product to add that little volume. The Ogario Styling Mist retails for £16 for 60ml. I wash my hair twice a week and have been using this for over three weeks, a total of 6 uses and I still have well over half a bottle left. I can definitely see this working really well for anyone who has thin hair as it would really help add volume all over!
