When it comes to setting sprays I am quite picky. I want something that will set my makeup and keep me shine free all day. I also want something that won’t irritate my skin. I will be honest and say I find alot of drugstore setting sprays don’t do anything for me but I was intrigued when I saw Rimmel had released the Insta Fix and Go 2 in 1 Primer & Setting Spray. I am a fan of Rimmel especially the Stay Matte Powder it works wonders!
The Rimmel Spray says it Locks In Makeup, Dries Quickly and it is oil free. If like me you suffer with oily skin finding products that are oil free is important. If you are new to my blog my skin type changes between Oily – Combination. The first thing I love about this spray is the scent, it smells like cucumbers! If you are sensitive to scents I wouldn’t recommend this as when you first spray it, it is a little strong but soon disappears.
I have been spritzing this over my face once I have applied my moisturiser and primer and then again when I have finished my makeup to lock it in place. The spray does a good job at refreshing and hydrating my skin. I have tested this out alot and recently worse it for over 10 hours when I went to Alton Towers which I recently did a blog post on here. My makeup stayed flawless all day, I usually get separation on the outer corners of my nose where I get oily but my makeup hadn’t budged!
You get 100ml for £6.99 which I think is a total bargain. I used to like the L’Oreal Infallible Setting Spray but I hate how it left white marks on your makeup. The Rimmel one is 100% better! I will be buying another bottle ready for when I run out of this one.
