My Trip To Paris

I can’t believe its already been a month since I went to Paris. I am definitely having holiday blues. I fell in love with Paris and can’t wait to go again. It just has this magical feeling like no other place I have been to. I loved going to Paris more than New York. We did alot of  sight seeing and a hell of alot of eating… oops. My healthy eating went out of the window. There are so many places to go and so many things to do.

The Eiffel Tower is something everyone knows about and I have dreamt about going to see it. Ashley had booked us tickets to go right to the top of the tower. Now I am scared of heights and it was so scary but I am so glad I did it. The views were amazing. I would recommend buying tickets online as it saves you having to queue. You just show them your ticket on your phone and that is it. Standing in front of the tower was surreal, it was weird but in a good way. When you look around everyone looks happy having family photos or couples where the girlfriend is making the partner take picture over picture until it is perfect. Yes I did this to Ashley haha.

The Notre Dam is such an iconic building, we all know the film right! I loved the Disney film and couldn’t wait to see it. We went as the sun was setting and look how stunning it looks! It was magical standing there looking at it. The Notre Dam is in the 4th arrondissement and I loved this area. It had little back streets with cafes, restaurants and some shops. They had the yummiest chocolate shop! It is quite a lively area in the evening as there are a few bars.

As we were only there four days I didn’t want to pack loads that would take up room. Luckily it was really hot when we went so I didn’t need a jacket/coat, I took my denim jacket just for in the evening if I needed it.

Day 1/Flight – I wore these comfy black culottes with this tie t shirt from Primark and my sandals.

Day 2/Sight Seeing/Shopping – I loved this outfit. I got these pleated khaki culottes from Primark and paired them with this adorable cropped t shirt from Pretty Little Thing. These trainers were a must, they are chunky trainers from Primark only £12, I wore them everyday and they didn’t rub once!

Day 3/Disney – I opted for this red and white striped t shirt dress again paired with the trainers.

How cute is this! We actually found this area by accident when we were getting a metro back to our hotel and had to change. This was the Printemps Haussmann in the 9th arrondissement. It was a huge department store which also had other shops outside including Mango and some food shops.

Of course I went to Sephora, I actually went in 3 oops. I mainly wanted to buy some of Sephora’s own brand makeup as it is really good. I picked up some of their own bits including makeup and skincare and then some Too Faced bits. I thought the Sephora in NYC was big but the one at Champs Elysee was huge!!

Food glorious food! Oh my the french know how to make cakes. Look at them! I ate so many macaroons over there. The vanilla ones were so yummy! I also like the pistachio and raspberry ones. This shop was near Printemps Haussmann in the 9th arrondissement, it was outside at the end of the street on the corner.

I am not joking when I say this is the best pizza I have ever had! This was a place called Pizza Pino along the main road of Champs Elysee. We sat outside and the staff were friendly. They had so many pizza options and other dishes.

I couldn’t go to Paris and not get some macaroons. I have to admit I bought these ones above and also some others during the trip they were unbelievably yummy! The ones above are vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. I also got some caramel, more vanilla and then pistachio and raspberry which were amazing. I could eat these all day long. If you haven’t tried some Sainsburys have started doing some on their desert counters which are really nice!

Next week I have my post up all about Disney and the goodies I bought there!
