If you haven’t seen already then Nip and Fab have released a makeup range which includes a wide range of products from concealer, contour kits to matte lipsticks. I was in Superdrug a few weeks ago and decided to swatch some of the matte liquid lipsticks. I decided to pick up just one so I could see if the formula was a hit or miss.
I really like the packaging it is sleek and simple with no fuss. I don’t get on with many matte liquid lipsticks as I find them far too drying especially the Kylie ones and ColourPop Ultra Matte ones so I wasn’t sure how I would get on with this formula. The shade I picked up is Cool Nude which is exactly as it says. I have done an arm and lip swatch so you can see how it looks. On my lips it definitely has the more cool toned look which I really like. I don’t suit really warm toned lipsticks.
The formula is actually really good. It is easy to apply and feels very creamy. Within a minute it dries matte. If I press my lips together there is an ever so slight tacky feeling but I prefer that than it being too drying. You can feel it is matte but it doesn’t feel uncomfortable at all. I also found it easy to re apply throughout the day without it looking cakey or flaking away.
The lasting power is really good. I ate and drank when wearing this and it only slightly faded towards the center of my lips so I just re applied and carried on with my day.
I definitely want to try more of the shades as they had some paler nudes which looked gorgeous! They retail for £7.95 from Superdrug or the Nip And Fab Website Directly.
