Ofra Glazed Donut Highlighter Review and Swatches | EmmyWritesAbout

Ofra is a brand I first tried last year when I got a few of the liquid lipsticks which are amazing. The highlighters had been on my wish list for so long. I was lucky enough to get the Ofra Glazed Donut Highlighter the beginning of the year for my birthday from TheDenaEdit. Highlighters are becoming my weakness. I wear them when I have a full face of makeup but I also wear highlighter when I have no other makeup on as I find having that slight glow makes your skin look really healthy. So what is special about the Ofra Highlighters you ask?

They come in a large pan including 10g of product which is alot as alot of other highlighters you get 4.5g. There are six shades to choose from including a wide range of shades. I have Glazed Donut which is the lightest of the six and aimed at paler skin types. They do ones for dark skin tones too. It is nice to see a brand cater to all skin tones.

When I opened the product for the first time I was wowed at how stunning and intense it looked. You can see by the photo above how beautiful it is. I have never seen a highlighter like it. The design is gorgeous and really stands out. The formula is powder, when you tap your brush you don’t get slight kick back like you do with the majority of highlighters. Although you get kick back this highlighter doesn’t look powdery on the skin at all. It has an almost wet look.

Now you can use this highlighter two ways. If you just ever so lightly tap your brush into the pan and apply onto your skin you get a subtle but very glowy wet look to your skin or you can build the product up and it becomes the most blinding highlighter I have ever used. I have tried alot of highlighters from ColourPop, Jouer, Too Faced, Sleek and more but nothing compares to this little gem. If you are all about that intense see me from the moon kind of glow this baby is for you!

The shade Glazed Donut is unique and honestly perfect for extremely pale to fair skin tones. It has an icy tone to it almost a white hint but when in the light it has gold reflects which look stunning.

The shade and formula are both one of the best I have tried. I can’t wait to use this so much more in the Summer months. The Ofra Highlighters retail for £25.00 which I think is amazing for 10g when the Jouer Highlighters are £19.00 for 4.5g. You can buy the Ofra Highlighters on Beauty Bay Here.
