I often just throw products out when I have used them but I decided a while ago to keep them and look and see if I would re purchase them. I love trying out new products and finding some new favourites. I have set myself some rules when it comes to buying new makeup or skincare. Before I can buy a skincare product I have to use up another one first. When it comes to makeup I need to use up two of the same product before I can buy one. I own far too many concealers, foundations and other products I need to start using up more of what I own.
MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation | £24.50 | Link
This powder is has been a favourite of mine for over 8 years! It is a fine pressed powder that applies beautifully. It makes your skin look flawless and airbrushed, it never looks cakey. It can be used on it’s own as it gives such good coverage and evens out skin tone or you can use it on top of foundation. I have tried cheaper alternatives but nothing works as good as this does.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gelee Milk Cleanser | £7.99 | Link
This is one of my favourite products of the year so far! I use it to remove my makeup and it works amazingly well, better than micellar waters! It works on my sensitive skin and melts away makeup well. If I need to remove my makeup quick I apply some onto cotton pads and gently wipe away my makeup. If I have more time I apply some all over my face with my fingers and leave it whilst I am in the bath and then wash off.
Essence Camouflage Concealer | £2.50 | Link
This is my third tube of this concealer. Essence makeup isn’t a brand I used much until last year but they really do have some fantastic products. This concealer is really creamy and gives such good coverage. It covers my dark circles well. It is such a bargain!
LA Roche-Posay Serozinc | £5-£10 | Link
I adore this product so much. I must be on my third one. I spray this all over my face once I have had a shower or bath and it hydrates my skin well. I also sometimes spray it in the morning before my makeup. If you want a lightweight mist that will give your skin hydration this is for you. It dries quickly so there is no waiting around for ages before applying makeup or other skincare products.
Too Faced Born This Way Concealer | £20.00 | Link
I did enjoy using this concealer. It is really creamy and the shade range is massive. Although I enjoyed using it I probably won’t re purchase. It is medium coverage and I do prefer a fuller coverage and I just find there are so many cheaper concealers I love more. Plus you can see how messy it is. It always got messy no matter what I did.
Lottie London Selfie Ready Foundation | £6.95 | Link
Now if you know me you will know I am a huge foundation junkie. I have tried numerous foundations and own around 25 at the moment but I will go as far as saying this is in my top 3 and maybe even my all time favourite foundation! It is medium coverage but it makes my skin look flawless! I can find my perfect match in this range too. I have already got two backups ready to go!
Benefit Ready Set Brow Gel | £20.50 | Link
This is the travel size (half the size of the full size) and I have just re purchased the full size! I can’t get over how good this is at setting my brows. It is the best brow gel I have tried, it really locks the hairs into place and they stay put all day!
L’Oreal Infallible Shaping Stick Foundation | £8.99 | Link
Stick foundations are something I have always stayed away from but I really wanted to try this one as soon as it was released as I love the Infallible Range. This stick foundation has really impressed me, the coverage is incredible, it looks flawless and lasts all day on my oily/combination skin! I have done a full review with swatches here.
