The Blogger Made Me Buy It #2 | EmmyWritesAbout

Does blogging make you spend money? Even before i started blogging i was very interested in makeup but since blogging my collection has pretty much doubled. I think with blogging when you read posts you find out about products and new releases more often. I don’t buy every hyped about product or every new release, i only tend to buy them if i know it is a product i will actually use. A while ago i did my first “The Blogger Made Me Buy It” and i will also leave a link at the end of this post.

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer | £22.00 | Link

I am obsessed with the Urban Decay concealer as you know but i finally caved and bought this one. Personally it didn’t do much for me. I found it to be a disappointing product as it was extremely drying on my under eyes.

Re-Purchase: No

Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner “East End Snob” | £3.99 | Link

A year ago i owned barely any lipsticks and no lip liners. Now my lipstick collection has grown but i still don’t own many lip liners. This liner is amazing! The shade goes with so many lipsticks and the liner itself is super creamy.

Re-Purchase: Yes Definitely!

Make Up Geek Eye Shadows | £4.95 | Link

Last week i posted my Full Make Up Geek Collection with plenty of swatches. I am now obsessed. I do find some shades better than others, some are more creamy than others but the shade range is amazing.

Re-Purchase: Hell Yes!!

Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer “Milk Chocolate” | £25.00 | Link

I didn’t buy this myself but i did ask for it as a Christmas present. Im in love! It smells gorgeous and the shade is perfect for my pale skin. It doesn’t look muddy when applied, it looks natural.

Re-Purchase: Yes

Zoeva 106 Powder Brush | £11.50 | Link

Zoeva brushes i adore. I buy mine in singles as i won’t use all of the ones in the sets. The powder brush is lovely. If i want a fuller coverage i will use my Real Techniques Powder Brush but on my good skin days i will use the Zoeva one.

Re-Purchase: Definitely

PUR Cosmetics CC Cream | £25 but £17.50 on offer | Link

I haven’t seen this product mentioned much but when i have the reviews were great so i had to have it. I am usually a full coverage kind of girl but in summer i prefer a lighter base but still with good coverage. This is a thick mousse like consistency but the coverage is light-medium. I do find if i have breakouts or dry patches this is a no go and it does cling to those areas.

Re-Purchase: Maybe as i prefer the Garnier BB Cream for Oily/Combination Skin as it is higher coverage and lasts well in the heat.

L’Oreal Infallible Fixing Mist | £7.99 | Link

Even before this was released in the UK i knew i wanted it. I love the Infallible Primer but HATE and yes i mean hate, the Infallible Matte Foundation. The fixing mist i did hate in the beginning, you have to shake this until your arms feel like jelly. Otherwise you spray it and end up with white bits all over your face that ruin your makeup. Once i shake it enough it definitely pro longs my make up.

Make Up Forever HD Foundation | £29.00 | Link

I did a full review of this foundation here where i said it is a hit and miss product. This is a light-medium coverage and you definitely cannot build it up to full. Sometimes it can last well on my combination skin and other times it just slides off.

Re-Purchase: No, other foundation are worth the money.

Lush Lip Scrub “Popcorn” | £5.50 | Link

I had wanted to try this for months and finally picked one up. I have noticed a huge difference with how my lipstick applies if i prep my lips with this before and yes it does taste rather yummy!
