New Release | Crown Brush 10 Colour Contour Palette Review and Swatches* | EmmyWritesAbout

Contouring is my favourite part of my makeup routine. Some days I have a natural subtle contour and other days I go full throttle and contour those cheekbones like no tomorrow. I have tried many contour kits and find there isn’t many good affordable ones. Alot of the shades in cheaper kits are quite orange which don’t work on most skin tones. Crown Brush have a new release the 10 Colour Pressed Powder Contour Palette which is affordable and comes with a huge range of shades.

You don’t see many affordable contour palettes with more than 4 shades which make it hard to find one to work for your skin tone. The Crown Brush Contour Palette comes with 10 shades including 3 under eye/highlighting powders, 1 shimmery highlight and 6 bronzer and contour shades.

When I swatched the shades I was impressed with how smooth they felt and with just one swatch they are extremely pigmented. Im quite pale and find alot of bronzer/contour shades come up orange but I found only one of the shades to have the slightest orange tint. The palette is six bronzer and contour shades so you can find a few that match your skin tone well and you can always mix shades together which I often do.

The first pale shade in the palette doesn’t show up on my skin tone as I am extremely pale and the shade matches my skin.

Top Row

Comes with three lighter shades which include a pale subtle white, a nude/pink and a banana yellow shade. All three shades work perfectly under the eyes to help set and brighten.

The top row includes one cool toned bronzer and one warm toned bronzer.

Bottom Row

This includes one shimmery highlight which makes the perfect cheekbone highlight and then it includes four contour/bronzer shades depending what shade you prefer.

All of the shades blend easily and don’t take too much effort which is a bonus. This palette is an absolute bargain for the amount of shades you can get.

You can buy the Crown Brush 10 Colour Pressed Powder Contour Palette for £16.99 from the Crown Brush Website.
