ColourPop Yes Please Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches | EmmyWritesAbout

ColourPop eyeshadows are some of my favourites. I have a few of the super shock shadows and a couple of the single pan shadows. When I saw them show the Yes Please Palette on Instagram I knew I needed it in my life. I missed the first sale but managed to get it in the second restock. The shades are perfect for Autumn but is the palette worth the hype?

The palette contains 12 shadows with a mixture of matte and shimmers/foils. I was drawn to the palette as warm tones are my thing but I liked how it has a yellow then a bright orange which I don’t have in any other palettes. The formula of these are just as good as the single shadows. The shimmers which are more like foils they are intensely pigmented and super buttery when swatched. You literally only need one swipe of these. They apply well with a flat brush or your finger.

The matte shades are also very pigmented. They blend out easily and you only need to lightly dab your brush to get an intense colour. The only shade I find needs building up is the darkest shade in the palette. Two of the metallic shades are duo chrome which I adore. I think duo chrome shadows look gorgeous all over the lid.

As you can see all of the shades are very pigmented and the colours are amazing. It has a good mix of base, transition and lid shades. I do have one downfall with this palette the packaging. It comes in a cardboard case that is white and it stains easily. The stains don’t come off either. I don’t know why they have made white packaging so it just always looks dirty.

Apart from the packaging I am in love with this eyeshadow palette and so happy I got my hands on it. It is perfect for travelling too as it is very slim and compact and very lightweight.

The ColourPop Yes Please Palette retails for $16 which is incredible considering you get 12 shades. If you can get your hands on it I 100% recommend doing so. If you order this on it’s own from Colourpop with $9.99 shipping fee you wont get customs are it comes under £15 in GBP.

I recently did a post on my Full ColourPop Collection where I have swatched Everything!!
