Now Morphe has a UK based website it makes it so much easier to get hold of their products. They are well known for there eyeshadow palettes and brushes but they are slowly launching new products. I saw on their Instagram they had released Brontours which are described as a bronzer and contour. I wasn’t expecting them to come to the UK so soon but as soon as I saw it had released on the UK website I had to order one.
The Brontours come in six shades with different undertones. When I was searching swatches online some of the shades seemed slightly off. I usually go for the palest shade in bronzer but the palest shade in this range doesn’t even look like a bronzer, it is too pale and the undertone isn’t right for a bronzer or contour shade. I watched some YouTube videos and saw Kathleen Lights say the same about the lightest shade and that she actually uses the shade Celebutante so I ordered that shade.
They come in sleek black packaging and I am loving the new Morphe logo/re brand it looks so much better. In the compact you get a mirror and then two shades. One lighter shade which has a slight sheen to it and then one matte shade.
I am so glad I picked up this shade as it works well with my skin tone. I tend to mix both of the shades together which creates a soft subtle glow within the bronzer. It makes your skin look healthy. I do also use the matte shade to contour which works really well. I am so happy I picked this up and have been using it daily. I do wish Morphe would sort the shade range out as the second lightest shade Frenemy looks extremely warm toned which doesn’t work on pale skin.
The powders are really smooth and blend well. I usually use a duo fibre brush for my bronzer as I find they distribute the product evenly. You do get a bit of fallout but that never bothers me as it is expected with powder products.
For £12 I think they are a bargain. If you can find a shade that works for you I definitely recommend them. Do your research like I did and look for swatches and watch some YouTube videos.
