Products I've Fallen In Love With Recently | EmmyWritesAbout

You know when you tell yourself you are on a spending ban but it just makes you buy more? Well that has been me for the past few months, oops. There have been so many new releases especially in the drugstore. I was recently going through my makeup and realised there are so many new products I have become obsessed with and I had to share them with you. It isn’t often I say I am obsessed with a product but now I have ten products I am actually obsessed with.

Collection Primed & Ready Mattifying Primer | £4.99 | Link

I am on my fourth tube of this primer and that shows how obsessed I am. I can’t believe I haven’t featured it on my blog before. It reminds me of the Smashbox Primers, it blurs my pores amazingly well and it helps keep me shine free all day. This is my most used primer.

Rimmel Insta Fix & Go Setting Spray | £6.99 | Link

Again I am on my second bottle of this. I have tried quite a few setting sprays and this is definitely one of my favourites. It smells of cucumbers which I love and it sets my makeup well. I have a full review here.

L’Oreal Hydra Genius Serum | £9.99 | Link

My skin has been all over the place lately. It used to just be oily, extremely oily now it has changed to combination. It is still extremely oily around my nose and on my chin but I get dry patches on my cheeks. I use mattifying moisturisers and primers but I decided to pick up the normal/dry skin version of this serum. They also do one for normal/combination skin so I might pick that one up too, to see if there is a difference. This serum has Aloe Water in it and it hydrates my skin incredibly well. My dry patches have gone. My skin is very sensitive and this doesn’t irritate it at all.

I was shocked as this is only £9.99 for 70ml! Boots seem to have it on offer alot for around £6.

Urban Decay Quick Fix Hydra Charge Prep Spray | £10-£23.50) | Link

I adore Urban Decay Sprays so when I saw they had released a Prep Spray I knew I had to have it. I have fallen in love. I spray this after priming and it melts into your skin. It smells of coconuts which is a bonus. You can pick up a 30ml size for £10 or the full size 110ml for £23.50.
GOSH Bronzing Powder | £7.99

I picked this up whilst in Superdrug over a month ago and I have been obsessed. Having pale skin it is hard to find a bronzer that is more neutral toned. I was worried at first as in the pan it looks a little warm but once on the skin it is alot more neutral toned and applies flawlessly. I can’t seem to find it on the website anymore but it is still in store.

Essence Satin Touch Blush “10 Coral” | £1.00 | Link

I am not joking you when I say I have used this everyday for 6 weeks! I haven’t picked up another blush since buying this one. It is the perfect peachy shade for Summer. I am going to pick up some more shades.

Milani Strobelight Glow Powder/Highlighter | £12.99 | Link

When I first got this I wasn’t impressed, when you swatch it you don’t get much pigment but when you apply it to the skin it completely transforms. You can have it as a subtle glow or build it up to an intense highlight. I love how you can build it up to the intensity you want.

Milani Moisture Lock Lip Oil | £9.99

Out of all of the products mentioned in this post, this is by far my favourite. I have tried a few lip oils but always found them sticky but this one is the total opposite. It glides onto the lips and doesn’t stay tacky. It moisturises my lips well. What I love is they have 8 different ones to choose from depending what your lips need.

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick | £6.99 | Link

Oh my this shade especially may be my favourite lipstick of all time. I picked up this shade Tantalizing Taupe and another shade. I keep this one in my handbag as it goes with every makeup look and the colour is perfect. It is a subtle pinky nude.

L’Oreal Infallible Nudist Lip Paint | £6.99 | Link

For those of you who don’t like a fully matte lip then these are for you. I find 90% of matte lipsticks drying but these are a creamy mousse like formula that dries semi matte which I prefer. They have a Nude Collection, The basic collection which has Brighter shades then they have a third collection which is the lacquers.

I picked up 3 of the shades from the Nudist Collection and you can see arm & lip swatches of each shade in my L’Oreal Infallible Nudist Matte Lip Review Here.

I am so happy that the Milani Highlighter showed up well in this swatch! Don’t forget if you want to see lip and arm swatches of the 3 L’Oreal Infallible Matte Lip Shades I picked up then check out my Full Review Here.
