The Best Contour Products For Pale/Fair Skin Tones | EmmyWritesAbout

Contouring is something I really enjoy, it is one of my favourite parts of my makeup routine. It is something I always include in my daily makeup routine. I find it makes my face shape look so much better and brings my whole makeup alive. Whether it is powder or cream contour I love both and find both easy to work with. It all comes down to using the right tools. I wanted to share my top four products from drugstore to high end.

MAC Cosmetics Blush “Harmony” | £19.50 | Link

Yes this is a blush but it is well known to be used for contouring. This is my most used product for contouring, I use it almost daily. I find it applies well and blends easily. You can create a subtle or intense chiseled cheekbones. I find it isn’t too warm or too cool toned which is why I like it for everyday use.

Zoeva Contour Spectrum Palette | £15.00 | Link

This is a palette I have fallen in love with. When I first looked at the shades I thought the contour shades looked far to warm and far to cool but when I swatched them I was surprised. They work perfectly. I use the cooler one to contour and the warmer one to slightly bronze up my skin. The highlighter shades are lovely too, they aren’t the most intense glow but they give a gorgeous healthy glow to the skin.

Benefit Hoola Quickie Contour Stick | £23.50 | Link

This is one of my favourite beauty products of 2017! It is honestly the creamiest contour product I have ever tried. It melts into your skin like butter. I find more neutral or warmer toned contours work better on my skin tone as cooler shades can make me look ashy. This shade is perfect. When I use this I can contour and bronzer all in one then I just apply a powder bronzer on top to fully set it in place.

Rimmel Insta Duo Contour Stick | £6.99 | Link

I really enjoy this one, it doesn’t feel as creamy as the Benefit one but it is still really creamy. It blends really well. It comes in three shades, I tried the lightest one but it wasn’t dark enough even on my pale/fair skin so I got the medium one which is perfect. It is buildable too.

Two of my favourite makeup brushes for powder contour are the Real Techniques Contour Brush and this ebay alternative I got to the NARS Ita Brush. For my everyday more natural contour I use the Real Techniques one as the brush is very fluffy but is the perfect shape to keep that defined look. I use the Ebay one for when I want a chiseled defined look and it works incredibly well! I would 100% having a look on Ebay or Amazon for a brush like this.

Moving onto cream contour this is my one and only true love! This brush is AMAZING! It is the Elf Beautifully Precision Airbrush Brush. It has a slight angle and is more of a dense brush. It applies cream contouring perfectly, the straight bottom is pefect for under the cheekbone then the rest blends it into your skin. It barely takes any effort with this brush.

Benefit Contour Stick – Rimmel Contour Stick – MAC Harmony – Zoeva Contour Palette 4 x shades

I recommend all of these products so much for pale/fair skin tones. They all work really well and blend effortlessly.

What are your go to contour products?
