Which Essential Oil Is For You?* | EmmyWritesAbout

Over the past few years I make a bigger effort to look after my skin and hair. Years ago I used to avoid any kind of oils as I always thought they wouldn’t work with my oily skin but I was wrong. No matter what your skin type is you will always find a product/oil suitable for you skins needs. Essential Oils are something everyone should have in their routine.

Tea Tree Oil is one I use the most and one I think everyone has heard of. I find it works incredibly well with my skin as I suffer with blemishes and get breakouts. One other oil that I always keep stocked up on is Lavender Oil, if you suffer with anxiety or have trouble sleeping you need this oil in your life. Lavender Oil is well known for helping people relax, you can get so many forms of the oil. I have a small one that I keep on my bedside table then sprinkle a few droplets onto my pillow before I go to sleep.

Essential Oils all have natural ingredients and can be used in many ways. There are so many to choose from. Oils can be used in aromatherapy, I especially love the sound of the orange oil which can be used in aromatherapy to create a happy and warm feeling.

You can use the oils for your skin, hair and to help relax you. Look at what your skin needs are and find the right oil for you. Carrot Seed Oil is one I haven’t heard much about but it is perfect for more mature skin as it helps tone and gives a more youthful look to your skin.

When it comes to skincare I haven’t started taking more notice of my skin and what it requires. My skin needs can change weekly so I like to have a mixture of products to choose from. I have also started delving more into the natural ingredient route when it comes to skincare and the essential oils is a great place to start.

I couldn’t be without my Tea Tree and Lavender Oils as they both work miracles!

Have you tried any essential oils?
