If you haven’t already seen I recently did a Sephora Haul on my blog, catch up with the full post here. I ordered from Sephora a few months ago now and one of the items I picked up was the Sephora Winter Flush Palette. As soon as I saw it on the website I knew I needed it. I wear blusher every time I wear makeup and I tend to love a mixture of shades from pinks, peaches, mauve’s and more so this palette really stood out to me.
How cute is the packaging! It comes in a cardboard gold case that has a large mirror inside too. Sephora products are such good value with amazing quality. When I went to New York last year I picked up a few products from the Sephora own line and loved everything I tried.
The palette includes four shades each of which come with a small shimmer shade and then the larger matte shade. You can either use them separate or mix them together. The pan sizes are quite large which makes it even better value for money. You get a pink, mauve, nude and peachy shade.
The powders themselves are soft and extremely pigmented. You only need a light hand to apply them. I usually use my Real Techniques Blush Brush with them. You can create a more light/sheer coverage or use more product for a more pigmented colour.
The top two have the pinks and mauve. The pink shades are so pretty. Your typical girly blush. The shimmer is a very pale pink which also looks stunning on the inner corners of your eyes. The mauve shade comes with a more gold shimmer shade. When you mix them together they create stunning shades.
A nude lovers dream. You get the warmer darker nude shade with a pale gold shimmer. These look stunning. The nude really adds warmth without being too much. Then we have the peachy shades which I adore. The matte shade is extremely pretty but even prettier when mixed with the shimmery shade.
All four blushes will work on all skin tones. I have fair skin and they all work well. I do use a lighter hand with the mauve shade but apart from that they all look stunning. I am really impressed with the quality of the blushers and highly recommend them. Sephora do sell single blushers but this set is only $16!!! I couldn’t believe the price when I saw it and I was even more impressed when it arrived to see how big the pans were.
If you didn’t know ordering from Sephora to the UK is extremely easy. If you order is £75 or more then shipping to the UK is only £6. Then it adds you customs/taxes onto your order so you don’t pay anything when it arrives. The customs are approximately 20% of your order. This is the same with any overseas brand eg. ColourPop but I like how Sephora add it all on at checkout so you know exactly what you are paying. Also the order arrived within 6 days!!
