Six Skincare Must Haves | EmmyWritesAbout

Over the past six months I have really found a skincare routine that works for me and these six products especially work magic. My skin type is leaning towards combination at the moment. I get extremely oily around my nose and on my chin then I get dry patches on my cheeks. Finding skincare products that work for you isn’t easy but hopefully some of these products may be for you.

LA Roche-Posay Serozinc | £4.50-£8.50 | Link

I am obsessed with this spray. Once I get out of the shower or bath I love to spritz this all over my face. It really hydrates my skin but also helps to mattify my skin without drying it out. I sometimes also use it in the morning before applying makeup. You can buy a 50ml for £4.50 or 150ml for £8.50. I always buy mine from Escentual as they always have it on offer.

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Awakening Eye Balm | £15.00 | Link

I never used to use products under my eyes but now it is part of my daily skincare routine as I really do notice a big difference. This is more of a lightweight gel that I pat underneath my eyes morning and night. It has a cooling sensation and really does help awaken my under eyes. I do find if I apply it in the morning I need to leave it a while before applying makeup.

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Serum | £22.50 | Link

I am on my fifth bottle of this! That shows just how good it is. If you suffer with dry or combination skin you will love this serum. It hydrates your skin and sinks into the skin beautifully. I apply this every night and my skin looks so much better. Again I always buy this from Escentual as they always have it offer.

YesTo Tomatoes Daily Balancing Moisturiser | £11.99 | Link

When my skin became combination I needed a new moisturiser. I tried so many but nothing help my dry area’s whilst helping my oily sections. This moisturiser saved my skin! It helps keep me shine free but also reduces the dryness. I couldn’t live without this.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water | £4.99 | Link

I have been using this for around two years now. I have also tried the Gel version but really didn’t like it. I found it dried my skin out. The water is incredible, I especially love to use it when I have heavy eye makeup. It removes everything without irritating my eyes.

Garnier Skin Active Honey Mask | £1.50 | Link

Let me tell you I have never fallen in love with a face mask as much as I have with this one. I actually have six stocked up in my draw. I always buy a few in a go. When my skin is feeling dry or just needs a boost I apply this mask all over my face. I leave it on for 10-20 minutes depending what skin is like. As soon as I remove it my skin feels fantastic. It is super smooth and looks alot healthier. It doesn’t irritate my skin at all either.
