Spring Makeup Picks Including Swatches

I am so happy Spring is finally here! The eternal winter has finally ended! I have dug out old products which I am excited to start using again and also some new products perfect for this time of year. I am all for the glowing skin, glossy lips, peachy tones and so much more!

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation | £29.00 | Link

I have had this foundation for quite some time but I haven’t used it much over the winter months. I recently dug it out of my collection and have been obsessed with it. It does give a dewy finish, it doesn’t dry matte at all. As I have combination skin (especially oily around my nose and chin) I do always use a mattifying primer and set with a powder. Even when it is set with powder your skin looks extremely healthy with a natural glow. It is a perfect foundation for this time of year. It gives medium coverage and doesn’t feel heavy.

Revolution Fast Base Foundation Stick | £5.00 | Link

I recently included this in my Battle Of The Stick Foundations (including L’Oreal and Tarte) and this one impressed me as I thought I would hate it. It gives the most amazing coverage and is extremely creamy. I think from reading other reviews it seems to work for dry or combination skin types. I do always use this with a mattifying primer and powder to make it work for me. It feels amazing on the skin and gives a satin finish.

Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder | $7.99 | Link

This one isn’t available in the UK yet, I am so glad I managed to get my hands on it and I can definitely see why everyone loves it. It is lightweight, makes your skin look airbrushed and keeps me matte. I have the lightest shade and find it works incredibly well at brightening my under eyes.

Too Faced Sweetie Pie Bronzer | £25.00 | Link

I adore this bronzer, I always rave about it. It gives such a gorgeous glow to your skin without being too pigmented. You can build it up and it doesn’t look muddy. On my pale skin it has a pinky bronze glow which works really well. It isn’t warm or cool toned which I prefer.

Morphe Blush Trio | £12.00 | Link

I have been using this for the past few weeks and it is definitely going to be used alot in the spring and summer months. It has a satin blush, matte blush and shimmer. There are different shades to choose from but I picked the coral one. The blushes are pigmented and look stunning.

Ciate Illuminating Blush Summer Love | £22.00 | Link

One of my favourite products of the year so far. This blush is so worth the money. It has a satin finish and gives the most stunning subtle glow and this peachy coral shade is beautiful. I cannot recommend these blushes enough.

Topshop Afterglow Highlighter | £12.00 | Link

I think this has to be my favourite gold toned highlight. It can be built up to be intense and the shade is unique. It swatches gold but when the light hits it on your cheekbones magic happens. It will work for for light, medium and darker skin tones.

Ofra Glazed Donut Highlighter | £25.00 | Link

If you want a blinding highlight you need this in your life. It is a gorgeous icy pearl shade that looks gorgeous on us pale girls. I can’t recommend this more!

Too Faced Natural Nudes Lipstick | £18.00 | Link

Too Faced has to be my favourite high end brand. When I saw them release these nude lipsticks I had to get a couple. This shade Birthday Suit is a gorgeous muted pink. I don’t tend to wear pink lipsticks but this one is a more natural pink. The formula of these lipsticks is extremely creamy. The formula feels slightly thicker but it does last well.

MAC PeachStock Lipstick | £17.50 | Link

I picked this up a couple of months ago and it is a lovely peach shade. I either wear it on it’s own or apply it on top of a darker lipstick. It is a satin finish which I find I prefer at the moment.

Laura Geller Color Luster Lip Glosses | £15.00 | Link

My mum got me these for Christmas and oh my I adore them! They have the most gorgeous shimmer in them, no picture can do these justice. If you want a shimmery gloss or lip topper I recommend these so much.

Milani Moisture Lock Lip Oil | £10.00 | Link

If you read my blog you will know how much I love this product. I always keep it in my bag ready to add moisture to my lips. Even in the warmer months I can suffer with dry lips and this lip oil works magic!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette | £43.00 | Link

This palette is so much fun and perfect for spring. I am loving the yellow/mustard shadows at the moment, they look gorgeous applied all over the lid and under the bottom lashes. It creates such a different look and just with one shadow. I also love the peachy shade and gold in this palette.
