I can’t believe I am already talking about my Autumn and Winter Skincare routine, seriously where did Summer go? I must admit though I do prefer the colder months as your makeup doesn’t melt off, cosy outfits and hot chocolates, whats not to love?! This year my skincare routine has changed alot, I now take my skincare routine much more seriously whereas before I just didn’t bother. Since upping my game my skin is looking so much better. I barely ever get a breakout and my skin looks pretty healthy.
La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel | £11.50 | Link
This year I have fallen in love with La Roche-Posay skincare and this product doesn’t dissapoint. I use this in the morning and once I have removed my makeup. It is a lightweight gel then turns into a slight foam when massaging over the face. It is extremely gentle on the skin which makes it perfect for anyone with sensitive skin. The Effaclar range is incredible! My skin looks fresh and feels super soft after using this. Especially in colder months I love a product that is gentle on my skin.
Yes To Tomatoes Daily Balancing Moisturiser | £11.99 | Link
My skin is usually extremely oily but now and again I get small dry patches on the tops of my cheeks, especially in Winter. I guess it must be from the harsh winds and my skin takes a hit. This moisturiser has impressed me massively. I had never tried anything from the brand before but I kept eyeing it up in Boots and finally purchased it. I am now on my third bottle. It is very lightweight and smells lovely. It has a slightly thicker consistency but rubs into the skin effortlessly. My skin has looked healthy ever since using this and I haven’t had one dry patch! It has also helped my oilyness.
Vichy Aqualia Thermal Serum | £22.50 | Link
I first tried this serum last year and have repurchased it ever since. This must be my 4th or 5th bottle! It is quite a runny consistency but you only need a small amount. When I apply this onto my skin it has a cooling affect which feels amazing. I love this especially in Winter as it definitely helps give some hydration to my skin.
The Body Shop Tea Tree Night Lotion | £10.00 | Link
I have raved about this a few times on my blog and I am always recommending it to people on Twitter. If you have oily skin or suffer with breakouts this is perfect for you. I first got this when my skin decided to keep breaking out and after using this I have never got bad breakouts since. If I do get a breakout I use this and they go very quickly. I couldn’t live without this!
Vichy Pore Purifying Clay Mask | £14.00 | Link
I recently did a full review of this which you can read here. Vichy has recently launched three face masks including this Clay Mask, Quenching Mineral Mask and Double Glow Peel Mask . As soon as I tried this mask I instantly fell in love. It is such a smooth consistency and isn’t too thick. I hate those face masks that are hard to spread over your face. This one glides on effortlessly. It doesn’t irritate my skin at all which is perfect as I find some masks tend to sting on my cheeks. This advises to leave on around 5 minutes but I do usually leave on for around 10 whilst im in the bath. It cleans my skin and makes my pores look so much better.
Escentual are always having offers on Vichy & La Roche-Posay Products.
Antipodes Skin Saviour Balm | £28.99 | Link
This balm is a must in the Autumn and Winter. This balm can do anything and I mean anything. The tin is huge, you get so much product. It is a balm that can be used for so many things including: dry skin, grazes, sunburn, chapped lips, sore muscles, stretch marks and much more! It is honestly a product you need. The price is a little high but when it has so many uses it is worth it. You can often get it online with a discount as so many websites sell it. You can read my full review here.
