I haven’t done a haul post for quite a while but over the past month I have got quite alot of new makeup especially high end products. My mum went to Cyprus a few weeks ago and she picked me up some MAC goodies and I was having a big operation on my neck whilst she was away this is my first operation she wasn’t there so she also got me some Benefit products… I will have operations whilst she is away more often! Not! Then myself I picked up a couple of items from the Debenhams Kat Von D launch and also got the new Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation.
I thought with my surgery I would treat myself as most of you know the past two years I have been housebound due to an accident resulting in reconstruction surgery on my leg then I have ended up needing a big operation on my neck, each time the operations should of been simple but me being me have to be difficult and the operations weren’t straight forward. So I thought why not treat myself to celebrate the end of it all. Even though me and my partner are going to New York in less than 7 weeks! We booked it in February as a celebration to end the awful past few years.
MAC Cosmetics Studio Fix Foundation | £22.00 | Link
I have had this previously so it was perfect timing when my mum brought me this back. I love this foundation in the colder winter months as it provides full coverage and looks flawless. I have a full comparison post comparing the MAC Studio Fix against the MAC Pro Longwear Foundation which includes swatches… you can read it here.
MAC Fix Plus Setting Spray | £17.50 | Link
I have always wanted this but for some reason never purchased it myself. I was so happy to see my mum got me it to try. I haven’t tried it out yet but after reading so many reviews I am super excited.
MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation | £22.00 | Link
This is my holy grail, I have been using it around six years! I forever repurchase it and I have nearly hit pan on the one I have so mum bringing this back was perfect timing. This powder has so many uses and it is unbelievable. I have a full review here.
Benefit Erase Paste | £20.50 | Link
If you read my blog you might have seen me review the Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector which I love but I have been wanting to try the Benefit version to compare them. I adore the Becca one so I am intrigued to see how this one compares. I will be doing a review and a comparison post. The Becca one is insanely good, I have a full review with before and after pictures which show just how amazing it is! You can read it here.
Benefit They’re Real Mascara | £19.50 | Link
I got a travel size of this mascara last Christmas and loved it. The wand is one of the small spikey wands which I usually hate but this mascara works wonders. I love how it applies and lengthens my lashes. I love pairing it with the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara.
Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation | £27.00 | Link
As soon as I heard Urban Decay were releasing a fuller coverage foundation that is matte I knew I had to have it, I have been waiting months to get this. After watching hundreds of YouTube video’s I went with the shade 1.5 as alot of people say it oxidises. I have tested it on my hand and it does oxidise, in my full review I will show a before and after so you can see how much it does oxidise. I am yet to try it out fully but I am very excited. Full review coming soon!
Kat Von D Lock It Creme Concealer | £20.00 | Link
I have been wanting this ever since it was released in the US. It is a full coverage concealer that is extremely creamy. The shade range is amazing. The packaging is just stunning.
Kat Von D Lock It Powder Foundation | £27.00 | Link
This seems like it is similar to the MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation so I am excited to try it out. I hope I love it as much as the MAC one!
I have full reviews of both products coming soon.
