It’s no secret im a huge ColourPop fan and especially their Lippie Stix. I have nine in my collection so far and they have different formulas from matte, extra matte to glossy. I must of placed around eight or nine ColourPop orders, I can’t stop buying. Along with the Lippie Stix I am obsessed with the highlighters, they are so intense and beat all of my high end highlighters.
The Lippie Stix come in Six Different Finishes including Matte, Matte X, Creme, Glossy, Satin and Pearlized. Each formula I have tried is incredible and are all comfortable to wear. Im not a fan of extremely drying matte lip products, I find the ColourPop Matte Liquid Lipsticks to be extremely drying but the Matte and Matte X Lippie Stix dry matte but don’t dry out your lips at all.
I have swatched each one on my arm and also done lip swatches so you can see how they look. I am quite pale so the shades may look different on you. I swatched each shade one after the other so some of the lip swatches aren’t the neatest after five or so it’s a nightmare.
Top – Bottom Left-Right
Skimpy – Glossy Finish – A soft light nude. Even though I am pale this works well.I love to wear it on those subtle makeup days to help freshen up the look.
Frieda – Satin Finish – This a a gorgeous summery coral shade but unfortunately it is now discontinued.
Brink – Matte Finish – This shade looks completely different on me and on my swatches compared to the lip swatch online. It is a terracotta shade that works with so many looks.
Oh Snap – Matte Finish – One of my favourites, this is a muted pinky nude. It has a slight rose tint to it.
Top – Bottom Left-Right
Bound – Glossy Finish – The perfect pink shade. I don’t like to wear bright pinks or barbie pinks as they just don’t suit me but this pink is perfect. I think if it was a matte finish I wouldn’t like the shade as much but the glossy finish works well.
Cookie – Matte Finish – I adore this shade. It is a light nude and has a slightly peachy undertone. It reminds me alot of MAC Honeylove.
Lumiere – Matte Finish – Your typical mauve shade. It suits so many skin tones.
Pillow Talk – Matte X – Oh my I am in love. I was worried the Matte X formula would be drying but it really isn’t. It is so comfortable to wear and the lasting power is incredible. This is a cool toned brown which I wore so much through Autumn and Winter.
Aquarius – Creme Finish – I recently picked up the Aquarius Lippie Stix, Ultra Satin Lip and Gloss. This shade is such a pretty nude pink and it is super comfortable to wear.
