I was supposed to be on a spending ban during February but that kind of went out of the window, oops. Although I have bought a few products over the past month none have really been new releases apart from one. There haven’t been any new releases that have excited me, especially high end brands. Now I have broken my spending ban I am now setting myself a new rule of I have to use up two products from a certain category before I can buy a new one. I own too many products and need to start shopping my stash. I wanted to share some of the newness with you.
NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray | £7.00 | Link
This is something I always see people rave about but it isn’t something I have every picked up until now. I usually use the Rimmel Setting Spray with I love but I thought I would pick this one up too. The bottle is on the smaller side with 60ml but so far I am really enjoying it. I find the nozzle on this one to work best out of all the sprays I have tried. It feels like a light mist that sprays evenly.
NYX HD Concealer | £6.00 | Link
Now I have used the NYX Concealer before but the shade wasn’t light enough for me. They have recently launched a new lighter shade Alabaster. This shade is so much better for me. It is pale and has a pink undertone. I do find it is medium coverage so I do have to use a corrector underneath for it to cover my dark circles.
Ciate Glow To Illuminating Blush | £22.00 | Link
I have wanted one of these for so long! Me and my mum both picked one up from Look Fantastic as they had them on offer for £15! We did pick up different shades, I got Summer Love which is a pretty peach shade. The blush gives a lovely satin finish. Review coming soon!
Milani Baked Bronzer | £11.00 | Link
I have debated buying this product for the longest time. I always used to love a matte bronzer only but over the past few months I am loving a slight glow. I finally got one and I got the lightest shade which is called Glow. I am excited to test this out! I will do a review once I have been using it for a while.
Maybelline Master Chrome Rose Gold Highlighter | $12.50 | Link
Everyone has heard of the molten gold but there is now molten rose gold. This hasn’t been launched in the UK yet but I wanted to get my hands on it so bad. The molten gold is too dark for my skin type so I ordered this one from Beauty Joint. The shade is stunning!! I can’t wait to share a full review with you.
Obsession Prime & Bake Oil | £8.00 | Link
I originally saw this in boots when I went shopping with Dena but I wasn’t sure on it. Then I went into my local boots and somebody had opened one so I tried a bit on the back of my hand and it felt amazing, it didn’t feel sticky and felt like it could be the perfect way to prep my skin before all of my makeup. Boots have a big stand for this range but it is also sold on Tam Beauty.
L’Oreal Infallible Shaping Stick Foundation | £8.99 | Link
By the time this post is up I have already posted a full review of this product. I originally purchased it back at the end of January when it was released and I have already used one up! I have just re purchased it so thought I would include it in this post as it is a new one. I have fallen in love with this product. Find out why in my full review which includes swatches!
I have seen this product be raved about so many times and always wondered if it is worth the hype. They have three sprays to choose from but I picked the original one as it is supposed to be good with breakouts and sensitive skin. So far I am really liking it but want to test it out further before I review it on my blog.
