How have I not reviewed this already?! If I could only use one product for the rest of my life it would definitely be the MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation. I have been using this for years! Im not someone who always buys high end products just because they are not always in my price range but I just cannot live without this powder. It is one of those products I will buy before my last one has even hit pan just so I know there is one there ready for when I do hit pan. I guess the question you are thinking is, what is so special about this powder?

The MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation is perfect for any occasion. It comes in a black compact which has a mirror and a flip up section with a sponge. I don’t use the sponge much to be honest but I do keep it just incase. It gives a matte, velvety finish which feels amazing on the skin, it doesn’t feel heavy and still lets the skin breathe. The best thing about this powder is that it can be used more than one way. I use this three different ways to create different looks.

Flawless Finish
Once I have applied my foundation I then apply this as a powder using my Zoeva Powder Brush. It gives your makeup the most flawless finish! Your skin looks amazing and it is perfect for evenings out or meals. 

Added Coverage
When the weather is a bit warmer and I don’t want a heavy foundation I use BB or CC Creams. I then use this over the top again with a powder brush just to add that little bit of extra coverage. Again your skin looks flawless but it is perfect for those who want a light foundation but still want the coverage without it being heavy.

Natural but Flawless
Over the last year I have become more confident with my skin. When im having a good skin day with no breakouts I apply my primer as normal and then instead of a foundation or cc cream I use this powder on its own. It gives you enough coverage whilst giving your skin the airbrushed flawless finish. 

I never used to leave the house with anything less than a full coverage foundation so the fact I can wear this powder on its own shows how much I love it and how confident I feel when wearing it. I have never found a powder that gives the finish that this MAC Powder gives. It is also perfect for my oily skin and MAC say it absorbs any excess oil. I have also seen reviews where this works on dry skin types too. At the moment my skin is more combination with dry patches on my cheeks and it doesn’t cling to them at all. I have the shade NW20 which is a perfect match for me. 

As I said this powder really does work for any occasion which is why I love it. It retails for £22 which is a little pricey but it is totally worth it and it comes in a range of shades, something for everyone. I find it lasts me quite a long time considering I use it everyday! A product that makes you feel comfortable in your own skin and gives you the most flawless finish ever, who could say no! The MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation is literally a life saver must have product!
