Benefit's The POREfessional Primer Review | EmmyWritesAbout

Its Monday again already! This weekend has flown by and i really do have the Monday blues today. Even though im not feeling my best, today is the first day iv actually wanted to do a blogpost and looked forward to it. Its been a rough few weeks and iv really not been in the mood. So fingers crossed from today things can only get better!

I haven’t tried many Benefit products apart from the blushers which i loved. I guess when i find products i like i stick with them, especially with primers. My two favourites are Rimmel Stay Matte and Urban Decays Pore Perfecting Primer. Both of which are amazing for oily skin types. So when i got the sample size of this primer i was excited to give it a go as iv heard many mixed reviews.

I washed and applied my moisturiser as normal and left it for around 10 minutes before applying the primer. My first thoughts are i love the texture of it. I recently reviewed Smashbox’s primer which is a very gel like consistency like the Maybelline Baby Skin which i hate! Any gel type primers i tend to stay away from. So back to this one in question, its very much similar to my mighty urban decay primer as they are both peachy in colour and have a thicker consistency.

How does it feel on my skin you ask? All i can say is, its like a dream! It glides over my dry areas and pores and makes them feel silky smooth and perfect. It doesn’t leave a tacky feeling what so ever. I definitely notice my foundation looks alot smoother when using this primer.

Honestly im not too sure if its made much more of a difference to my oily skin as i still apply powder half way through the day. All in all its a new favourite of mine and i think i will definitely repurchase this again! The Benefit POREfessional Primer retails for £24.50.
