Skincare Products For Sensitive Skin | EmmyWritesAbout

As I have gotten older my skin seems to have become more sensitive and I have to be careful what products I use on it. I finally have six products which work wonders for sensitive skin, they all work differently depending on your skins needs. Luckily my mum has always had a good skincare routine which made me realise young that a skincare routine is important to keep your skin in good condition as you get older.

Aloe Soothing Gel | £8.00 | Link

Aloe Vera is one of the best products for your skin especially if it is sensitive. It has so many benefits but you have to try and pick a natural version of it. Some brands add so many products into it but this one is one I have found to be the best. It is a gel that soothes your skin instantly, reduces redness, reduces texture and heals your skin. I use this so much.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gelee Milk Cleanser | £7.99 | Link

As you can see this bottle is empty and this was my second bottle! I have become obsessed with this. I apply it all over my face and leave it for a few minutes to melt my makeup. It helps removes makeup incredibly well. I used to use the Garnier Micellar Water for well over a year but it started to dry my skin out. This milk cleanser has a cooling sensation which is great for sensitive skin and it removes your makeup without irritating your skin.

Garnier Honey Flower Moisturiser | £5.99 | Link

I use a face mask of this and love it so I decided to pick up the moisturiser. Honey is known to be perfect for your skin if it is damaged, sensitive or dry. This moisturiser sinks into your skin quickly but leaves it hydrated. They honey works well with sensitive skin. I adore this moisturiser. You can always buy the face mask for £1.99 which has the exact same texture as the moisturiser.

Obsession Baking Primer Oil | £8.00 | Link

I have been using this oil for nearly two months and have just reached half way through it. I use this as a facial oil before I go to bed as it does stay oily for quite a while. I find leaving it overnight to sink it makes my skin feel hydrated and smooth. It will work well for dry or combination skin types. It doesn’t irritate my skin at all. There is no scent to it which I like.

The Ordinary High Adherence Silicone Primer | £3.90 | Link

If you have sensitive skin this primer is for you. It has a cooling effect when you apply it and it really reduces redness and makes a smooth base for my makeup. I even apply this on those no makeup days just to give my skin some life.

La Roche-Posay Serozinc | £10.00 | Link

This spray has been a favourite of my for a few years now. It is a lightweight spray that works well to reduce blemishes and redness whilst controlling shine. Again it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin and helps keep it balanced.
