It has been a while since I have been on a shopping trip and managed to find things I like. Since I had my surgery on my neck I hate buying clothes as I will only buy things that will cover my neck and most clothes are lower cut. This is the first shopping trip in a while I have found quite a few clothing items I loved. I managed to get a few items in the sales and some were normal price but I picked up a good mixture.
I have wanted this Skinny Dip Tequila Sunrise Candle since I saw it in Boots a few months ago but it was £18 which when you are buying Christmas presents seems expensive. I went into Boots last week and saw it in the sale for £9! This one is sold out online but they had quite a few in store. It smells incredible! It is still available on the Skinny Dip Website for £18 which I would happily pay, I am quite tempted to order their Pomegranate Bellini one they do too!
I desperately needed some new makeup sponges as all of mine need to go in the bin. I stocked up on the trusty Real Techniques Miracle Complexion sponge and I also picked up the B Blending Sponge after hearing so many fab reviews on this.
How stunning is this?! It is definitely a marmite item but I am obsessed. I saw this before Christmas and fell in love, they also did a matching bag. Ashley did try to get me them for Christmas but he couldn’t find them. I found this in the sale in River Island reduced from £22 to £12 so of course I had to get it! Plus it was the last one!
I finally found a Laura Mercier Counter. I have been trying to hunt one down for so long as I wanted to swatch this foundation. I nearly gave up then my lovely friend Zoe from MammafulZo sent me a message saying there was one in Harvey Nichols. I dragged Ashley there and I was so happy. The lady on the counter was amazing at helping me with my shade for the Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Foundation which has been on my wishlist for so long. I also picked up the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder, yes I am late to the party!
I know I know there is actually a full body shot of me and my face! How rare is that hahhaa. I had to show off this cute Mickey Mouse Lounge Wear Set from Primark! It is no secret how much I love Disney but I adore this set. It was £20 but you can buy the top and pants separately. It is super comfy!
One of my sale finds! I saw this coat in Primark and thought it was gorgeous. It was £15 in the sale instead of £30! The fur colour is detachable which I loved. I am so happy with this one.
Next I saw these gorgeous Chunky Cleated Sole Boots in New Look. I had a £25 voucher so I only ended up spending an extra £3 on them! I love how it has a small heel but they will go with so many outfits.
I saw this Grey Frill Sleeve Knit Top in River Island and couldn’t decide if I liked it or not. When I tried it on it looked so much better on than on the hanger. I find the sleeves so cute. On the tag it had £28 but when I got to the till it was only £14!
Lastly I found this Tartan Tie Skirt in the sale in River Island. It was only £10! I love the tie detail, anything that hides my tummy is a winner haha. It so comfy and perfect to go with some boots.
Did you pick anything up in the sales?
