I finally got my hands on some products from the Too Faced Peaches and Cream Collection. If you didn’t know there is now a Too Faced store in London on Carnaby Street and they are selling the whole Peaches and Cream range. You can also now order the range from the Too Faced Website and the Sephora Website to the UK, they add all customs/taxes at checkout so you won’t get any surprises when your parcel arrives. I picked up four items from the range including the Primed and Peachy Primer, Peach Perfect Foundation, Peach Mattifying Setting Spray and the Sweetie Pie Bronzer.
The packaging is just the cutest. I think it might be my favourite packaging Too Faced have ever done. I like how the primer and foundation come in exactly the same packaging apart from the foundation is slightly bigger. They both come with a pump and in a tube. I like this packaging as it sleek and it is travel friendly.
What Too Faced Say:
Cooling primer that helps to blur flaws and smooth complexion with a brightening peach tint that works on any skin tone for a soft-focus finish that’s lightweight, comfortable, and smells as good as it feels.
The primer has a slight peach tint to it but when blended into the skin it disappears but it does even out your skin tone. The texture is thicker, it reminds me of the Benefit Porefessional Primer (I didn’t like that primer as it made me extremely oily which is the opposite of what I want). I really like the texture and the thickness as it blurs pores incredibly well. It makes your skin feel silky smooth and it creates the perfect base for the rest of your makeup. There is a slight scent of peach but it isn’t strong and it does settle down.
The primer does dry down matte, if you have dry skin I would stay away from this primer. I only use this on my extremely oily areas (my chin and outer corners of my nose). I do have more combination skin as it switches from combination to oily depending on the weather.
When I try a new primer I can tell after a couple of uses if I love or hate it. I have been using this primer nearly everyday for over a month and I have fallen in love! I have tried it with alot of different foundations and each time it works exactly the same. I get extremely oily on the outer corners of my nose, my makeup always separates in this area but when I use this primer I don’t get oily there at all! I have worn this primer with foundation etc for over 12 hours and it still kept me matte! My makeup always looks like I have just applied it.
You get 40ml of product for £27 which I think is really good. I have found my new favourite primer! It isn’t often I fall in love with a primer as I have never found something that works perfectly apart from the Kiss Light Reflecting Primer but I think the Too Faced Primed and Peachy one has taken over the kiss one!
