Most people love hitting pan or finishing a product, for me I hate hitting pan on makeup but skincare I love to finish to see if I have enjoyed it. I am trying to use up more products in my collection before I by any more when it comes to makeup or skincare. My collection is excessive, I need to use more of what I have but of course there are some gems I have to re purchase. I am really trying to save money going forward and I am aiming to use more of what I have.
Skincare and Haircare First…
Colab Dry Shampoo Unicorn | £3.49 | Link – I have tried many dry shampoo’s and hate most of them. My hair is black and extremely thick. I picked this up on a whim, well to be honest the packaging caught my eye. Their marketing team are doing well! Other than the packaging this is by far the best dry shampoo I have tried! It doesn’t leave any white marks, it rubs into your hair well and doesn’t leave that tacky feeling. It instantly makes my hair look fresh and lasts all day.
Repurchase? I already have!
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gelee Milk Cleanser | £7.99 | Link – All I can say is wow wow wow. This has to be one of my favourite products this year. This is actually my second bottle I have gone through. I apply some onto a cotton pad and use it to remove my makeup. It takes my makeup off extremely well and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. If I have a bath I apply some all over my face and leave it to soak in for a few minutes before removing. It feels cooling and my makeup is completely removed.
Repurchase? Hell yes!
Clearasil Rapid Action Clearing Toner 4 Hours | £5.88 | Link – My skin has turned into an acne prone mess. It became so sore after I had to double the dosage on some of my medications which I have to take everyday I would sit and cry at how bad my skin was. I tried so many different products nothing worked then I saw this in Boots. To be honest I didn’t have high hopes but it has worked miracles. My skin is still scarred from before but this has stopped me getting as many breakouts and if I do get a breakout it gets rid of them quickly.
Repurchase? Already on my third bottle.
NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray | £7.00 | Link
I do love a good setting spray and have really enjoyed using this. Although at the moment I am not wanting as matte a base as usual and love a slight glow. This spray definitely mattifies the skin,I wouldn’t recommend this for dry skin at all. I find the bottle is quite small too!
Repurchase? No, it didn’t wow me enough.
Too Faced Primed and Peachy Mattifying Primer | £27.00 | Link
This primer is beyond incredible!! I only use it on and around my nose then use another primer all over. My nose always creases on the sides but this primer makes it possible to wear almost any foundation. I absolutely cannot recommend this enough. It has a similar texture to Benefit Porefessional but not as thick and it works so much more!
Repurchase? Already gone through two tubes! Hell yes!
Urban Decay Quick Fix Spray | £24.00 | Link
If you love coconut this is for you, the scent is heavenly. This spray is designed to be sprayed before makeup to freshen up your skin. It is a lightweight mist that hydrates your skin and sinks in quickly. I have really enjoyed using this all Summer.
Repurchase? In the future yes, but not right now.
Essence Camouflage Concealer
Essence are really upping their game this year. This concealer I have already repurchased quite a few times. It gives medium coverage whilst looking flawless. It is creamy and doesn’t crease either. I am not sure if they are discontinuing it but I wouldn’t repurchase again.
Repurchase? No due to falling in love with other concealers and trying to use up ones I have.
