Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Foundation Review | EmmysBeautyCave

Hello Lovelies…How’s your weekend going? Anything Interesting? Iv just done a little more shopping as usual. Bought a gorgeous coat/jacket from River Island, I will be posting about it soon. Im back to a beauty review today. Iv seen this foundation around on a lot of blogs getting horrible reviews. Usually bad reviews would put me off buying a product but I decided to give it a go anyway. It is the Collection Lasting Performance Foundation. On nearly every blog iv seen this on I read that every single shade is orange and it dries to quick so you cant blend well. So whats my verdict?

Firstly I have to say I love the packaging. For £5.99 it comes in a glass bottle and with a pump which is more than Revlons Colorstay Foundation. I hate foundations that don’t come with a pump when they are in bottles…anyone else find this annoying?

Why did I buy this you ask? Well number one is that it is oil free and secondly it states it is full coverage. I love trying any foundations that have those two statements. When you see the shades in the bottle they all look the same so I did need to test them on my hand. I tested a few shades and found none of them came across orange like mentioned on other blogs, so i thought maybe it didn’t seem orange until applied? I chose the shade “Cool Beige”.

So I shook the bottle well as stated and pumped a few dots onto my face. I blended this in using my Flat end face brush I found it blended so easily and didn’t dry quick at all. It gave me enough time to blend well without a struggle. Also the colour was perfect, it didn’t look orange at all. Looking at the photos it looks a little lighter than in person but it looks natural. As you can see it completely covered my blemishes and gave me a flawless finish. I haven’t applied any powder or concealer above but once I did it made my skin look so flawless.

Will I buy this product again? Definitely. Maybe it depends on your skin and what you want it for. But for me it was easy to blend, great colour match, full coverage and it lasted most of the day which the one application of Soap & Glorys “OneHeck of a Blot”

I would honestly say this is better than my Revlon Colorstay Foundation.

Have you tried this foundation?
